Happy 6th Birthday Kenai!!!

We love celebrating our kiddos lives. On the 28th, we celebrated Kenai turning 6. Our goal was to have our house finished, and it was for the most part. Our furniture was actually delivered during the party, and we moved in the next day. Kenai's been so into Ninja Turtles (starting off with his first toys and mask from Auntie Janie Craft from the HDC trip last year; and the whole costume from his grandma). We thought we'd try everything to give him a legit Ninja Turtle party. With the help of google and a few friends, we pulled it off! We had a party full of Ninja Turtles, fireworks, food, pin the mask on the turtle, dancing with glow sticks (thanks HDC!!!), Ninja Turtle tattoos from WALMART!!, and finished the night off with the actual movie for all the late nighters :)

I think he had a great time! And so did everyone else- all ages!

Back To Sri Lanka

This month or Singhalese school participated in an Olympic games which they hold every four years. I had fun photographing all of our kiddos from our village. The games were a competition between our Arugam Bay school and Pottuvil School (the next town over).

We always look forward to coming home to rice and curry, especially since Cody and I both gained 25-30 pounds, in which we are working to get off :)

Our surf season has not begun yet, but there's been a few fun days of beach break in front of our house.

Our surf and swim school kids were so stoked to start up S&S Saturdays again! Its been difficult with so much going on construction wise with the house/community center, but we are still making it work.

As far as the house goes, its coming along!!!!!! Cody is working hard along with some other friends and workers. Hoping to get moved in by the end of the month!
