New Things In Our Lives

This month is a month of many new things!
We got to enjoy watching our first fruits at our new home come out. Our first bananas!

We also inherited peacocks. Some of the local kids found peacock eggs in a bush by the beach (close to our house). We watched for a few days, and then one day the nest was missing one egg and there were feathers all over. We assumed the mom had been attacked by a dog. We took the eggs and put them with a neighbors chicken. When they hatched, we brought them back to our house. Cody and a few boys built a house for the peacocks next to our storage room. They continue to grow and are a beautiful addition to our zoo :)

And the most exciting NEW THING is our house being finished. The community center downstairs needs one final coat of paint, but other than a few last details, we are moved in and enjoying the space!!! I am still cooking out of the small house, as we are waiting on our refrigerator to come. But we are living and sleeping in the new house! YAY!!!!

We're so thankful for the extra hands this month to help finish it out. Our kids have been a huge help and Cody has done the most work of all!!! Thankful for Babu and Thambe and also for a team of M's that live 5 hours from us and were willing to come visit and lend a helping hand. So blessed.

These boys had a little too much fun with the black powder used for the concrete stamps.
