Valentines Day

We started off our day on a nice family walk in the rain around the bay. It was so nice to get out after many days back to back of rain.

That evening, our good friends Sharmely and Inoka watched our boys for us so that we could go on a date.

We enjoyed a nice evening at Hideaway Restaurant, owned by a friend in the Bay. She cooked up amazing meals for us and a wonderful dessert.

Thanks to the girls for watching the kids and also letting me borrow a red dress :)

Our creative morning of handmade cards, even from the kids, and a no bake cheesecake that my mom sent for Cody - a nice breakfast!

Koda did the dishes for us without even being asked. He has such a servants heart!!!

Arugam Bay surf/dive/road Trip

The surf club invited me to a surf contest on the east coast and I am so glad I went.  Quality and quantity time with these boys was life changing on both ends.  So many great talks and great memories.

One of my best friends

Most of the A-BAy team.

Classic 70 year old Sri Lankan beach vender.

Jamming Sri Lankan Style, he made up a song for me that the boys said was hilarious, no idea what he was saying but it was way cool.

After the surf contest I went out to spear some fish for dinner and was blessed with this beauty, mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Lets just say after 4 days away from my wife I needed a little lovin. Hahaha

Jam Night, Everyone had some sort of instrument. So much fun and it really sounded good. Can you tell what I am playing.

Found my new favorite wave in Sri Lanka, super fun.

On our way home I took the boys out to an off shore lighthouse for some spearfishing,  it is an underwater wonderland with colors and fish unimaginable. The boys were in heaven.

Surf Safari, 14 people, 14 surfboards, spearfishing gear, personal gear and 7 hours of travel. Yeeeha

King Coconuts more electrolytes then gatorade and more energy then a red bull. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Baby Crocodile

Johnson caught this baby crocodile at Aloha Cabanas, where he works. He called us to bring the kids over to see it. Cody was shaking trying to pick it up. It was still so vicious even though it was small.

The kids were also nervous holding it

This is the boys letting their turtle go. We were feeling that Coconut needed to be free. Sad day :(
