Surf and Swim School at Peanut Farm

Another Surf And Swim Saturday…. and we headed by jeep to Peanut Farm. 

Lots of lessons, lots of practicing, and loads of fun!!!!! Our kids are improving and we're hoping to run a surf contest for our young kids under 16 next month. 

Celebrating our 11th Anniversary in Nuwara Eliya

We decided to get away for a couple of days to the coolest (coldest) place on the island- the mountains called Nuwara Eliya. We took our kids with us to celebrate, as they also could use a break from the heat, humidity, and busyness that we've had during this season of building. It was such a wonderful, peaceful and serene time. We rented a tuk tuk for 3 days and drove 7 1/2 hours through the center of the island and up to the high mountains. The drive wasn't so bad, because it was so beautiful and cool. We saw beautiful waterfalls, lakes, rivers, flower gardens and tea fields. We relaxed, drank tea and just explored around. It was a much needed and blessed time together. Its been a very stressful time with trying to get the house/community center finished before we leave in just over a month. A few days away was a treasure forever! We are so thankful for the 11 years that God has given us together. I could not be more grateful for such a wonderful marriage and amazing husband. Blessed~

Nothing Better Than Watching Children Give

Le'i had brought some toys to give away from kids in Sweden and our kids threw together a bag of their own to hand out. We drove through our village and handed out all the toys to kids everywhere. It's so fun watching the kids get so excited and the best part is seeing our own kids light up from giving. 

Jungle Safari

For Stefan, Le'i and Aziz's last day, we all headed out to the jungle on safari. We saw tons of huge crocodiles, elephants, climbed trees and had a great afternoon together. It was a nice month to have Aziz out and a 2 weeks with Stefan and Le'i. They joined in on all of our ministries and helped a ton.
