Cody's Batticaloa Fishing Trip

Cody decided to plan a fishing adventure for some of the teenage boys that attend his weekly study of the Word. They were on summer break and had never been spearfishing before because of the conditions of the water in this area. Cody rented a tuk tuk and packed it out with gear and kids and headed North to a place called Batticaloa. Cody took them to a spot that he has been to a few times, where he knew would be great for beginners. You're able to dive off of the beach and its not so deep. The boys had a great time and Cody taught them a lot of techniques of spearfishing. They spent the rest of their time driving around Batticaloa visiting their relatives and playing Uno in the hotel room. It was the first time that the boys had ever stayed in a hotel. It was nothing fancy, but they were stoked. Yet with all great things, there comes adversity when your doing kingdom things. The teenage boys (Mitun, Ajai, and Dixon) were all asked many times if Cody had "bought" them and giving them big attitude and treating Cody poorly. The boys were very irritated with having to explain to people over and over who Cody was (like family) and made them very uncomfortable to be treated that way by outsiders. It really opened Cody's eyes to the sadness and sickness out there; that if they were asked so many times in regards to that issue, how many people are really doing such a sick and perverse thing as this to young boys. Please be in prayer for this problem in Sri Lanka.
