We started off the month reconnecting with two of the Muslim families that we grew to love last time we were here. Coladeen and his family are such a precious family and we look forward to spending a lot of time with them. Their oldest son Hajith lives in Colombo (the capital city) and works at a the largest hospital there. He came to visit us also. We are teaching their second oldest son Harith how to surf. Tiffany and their daughters have a date set to make curtains together. Coladeen's family is also a part of our new oikos.
Samsudeen and his family invited us to their house for lunch. It was so good to see them with big smiles on their faces. We brought our photo album to show them pictures of our last trip to Arugam Bay. They were so excited to look at the pictures. We definitely feel that their family is a part of our new oikos. The picture to the left is their youngest, yet as you can see in the photo that Cody is holding was just a baby when we were here last time.
